Home inspirations Birmingham Rag Market New Home Lighting Stall

Homeinspirations have been providing outstanding interior decoration to the West Midlands area since 2010, by Michelle Lewnes, a charity worker turned interior designer, with an exceptional eye for all things sparkling and a know how for what will go where. Based in Telford, Shropshire we have now moved into a permanent position in Birmingham’s  Rag Market (founded in 1154). Over the years our products have beautified and adorned many of our customers lives across the UK and we are a leader in low powered decorative lighting.

Being a Shropshire company with so many gorgeous places to visit right on our doorstep, don’t be surprised if local landmarks appear from time to time…well how could we not.

Michelle Lewnes: Having spent many years working in retail, Marketing for industry, Newspaper companies, local Football clubs and Children’s charities went through a life changing experience in 2008. During this time Michelle spent time researching home products that would brighten up people’s lives and Homeinspirations was born. Our mosaic lamps are a range inspired by holidays on warmer shores.

History of Birmingham Markets

Birmingham is the second-largest city in England. It began as a Saxon village. In the early 12th century it grew into a town. In 1166 the King gave the Lord of the Manor, Peter De Bermingham, the right to hold a weekly market at Birmingham.

Find Everything you need at Birmingham’s Famous Rag Market

The Rag Market in the centre of Birmingham’s Bullring is the place to find everything you need under one roof. Over 350 stalls, selling an eclectic mix of fashion, gifts, perfumes and accessories, along with the best selection of fabrics in the city.

The Market has a long held reputation for being a must-visit place when shopping in the city, with a cool alternative feel that has always been a big draw for students looking for some cool clothing or bargain hunters looking to make their hard earned cash go that bit further.
